Welcome to the Gingerah Energy Projects. Since 2011, we have been actively engaged in the Great Sandy Desert, leveraging our expertise as geoscience specialists and explorers. We distinguish ourselves by our extensive geological knowledge of the Canning Basin and its abundant natural resources. Furthermore, we have fostered strong relationships with the traditional owners of the land on which we operate, recognising their deep connection to the land and commitment to caring for country.
Through our partnerships with the traditional owners, we have a unique opportunity to deliver energy in a sustainable and culturally appropriate manner. The Gingerah Energy Hub, our flagship project, integrates a variety of energy sources, including solar, wind and geothermal energy. This comprehensive approach allows us to provide energy while ensuring environmental sustainability and respect for cultural heritage.
At Gingerah Energy, we are conducting research to create a world-scale energy hub that supports sustainability and economic prosperity for the region and its traditional owners. Our vision aligns with the Australian Government’s net zero emissions targets by 2050, contributing to a cleaner and greener future. This project will not only improve Western Australia’s energy security, but it will also boost our partnerships with trading partners. By decarbonizing our operations through the use of renewable energy and sustainable ammonia production, we can eliminate scope 1 and 2 emissions. This transformative approach enables us to produce 180 thousand tonnes per annum of green hydrogen (ktpa) or up to 1 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of green ammonia.
